One of the many wonderful things that happened during the course of the FJ Stories Project, was meeting the family and descendents of Fletcher Jones. We came to know that the family were also watching and worrying about the decaying Fletcher Jones Pleasant Hill site in the dark years before its purchase by Dean Montgomery in May 2014.
In 2015, it was wonderful to meet eighteen members of the Jones family who came to join in the community Christmas Party in the FJ garden festivities. They travelled from Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and even Germany to attend the picnic and the unveiling of the first FJ story panel! Here 5 of Sir Fletcher Jones' grandchildren talk about their experience with Colleen Hughson.
