Fletcher Jones: Stories from our Community, Julie Eagles Project Coordinator

Established in 1998, the Victorian Community History Awards are held in celebration of activity undertaken to explore and preserve the State’s history.  The range of award categories acknowledge that history can be told in many and varied formats wit the aim of reaching and enriching all Victorians.  The Victorian Community History Awards are presented by Public Records Office Victoria in partnership with the Royal Historical Society of Victoria.    A major event of History Week, the annual Victorian Community History Awards recognise the work of individuals and organisations committed to telling stories of local history.
