The modern day photo is taken in front of an FJ Stories panel 5mx1.5M that was unveiled at the 2015 Christmas Party in the Fletcher Jones gardens. The Story Panel features images and narrative of the Fletcher Jones water tower (the Silver Ball) and the Fletcher Jones Gardens collected through the FJ Stories project.

David is the grandson of Fletcher Jones and he came to Warrnambool in 2015, along with 18 members of the Jones family,  to attend the 2015 community celebration.  He was not aware that his photograph would be in the panel until the unveling or that Brenda would be there 43 years later!  Brenda's mum Eleanor Anderton worked at FJs and shared the original photograph with the FJ Stories project.
