The link below is to a Silver Ball song written and performed by Damian O'Keefe. There's also a little movie of him performing the song at the 2016 community Christmas picnic in the FJ gardens. The movie was shot by Sam Maloney of WAVEFORM Media, established in 2014, to create youth and student media from the Great South Coast for the World.
The stunning photographs below of the Silver Ball were taken by Rhonda McDonell. We are looking forward to when the corrosion on the ball, so evident in a couple of these photos, is fixed. We anticipate that works to repair and rejuvenate the ball will happen during 2017 - which is also the 50th anniversary since the ball AKA Fletcher's water tower was erected.
