Art Inspired by

Fletcher Jones, the FJ Gardens and the Silver Ball have been the inspiration for artists in all genres.  A small selection of work is included in this theme for your enjoyment.  If you know of other work or would like to add your own please contact through the website.  During the community campaign to save the Silver Ball and Fletcher's Gardens, there was an avalanche of beautiful photographs produced and shared honouring the Silver Ball in particular.  There's even a song to the Silver Ball and now also a Silver Ball record label.

The Artery and the Outlaw Gallery are two amazing artist-run spaces in Warrnambool that offer classes, workshops, exhibitions and sales of works.  If you visit, you will be sure to find something that was inspired by some aspect of the Fletcher Jones story in their collections.  The Warrnambool Art Gallery is a memorial to Fletcher Jones.
