Fletcher Jones 6 point policy started with: "continually striving to set an example in painstakingly lifting the quality of Australian-made clothing."

"We use high quality materials, ask for top quality workmanship, give our customers value for money and provide real service in personal fittings and in drycleaning, alterations and repairs. By selling to the public through our own shops, we keep our prices as low as possible.  Fletcher Jones garments are only obtainable through Fletcher Jones shops.  Quality and service... these are the main factors in our future security.  Our customers are our real 'bosses'. If they are not satisfied with our workmanship and our service, they will not return for more! As long as we provide top value in our garments and our service, our customers will return to us, talk about us to their friends and our future will remain secure and bright."
